It only seemed right that my first post be about my own garden.
A lot of my clients ask me what it’s like. I always have a hard time describing it. It’s just not something I can summarize using just one word or style.
‘It’s a collection of native plants’…um no…but I love native plants and they do figure prominently in my garden.
‘It’s a ‘White Garden’…well except for all those purple, and yellow flowers.
‘It’s modern…with a side of rustic?’
What it IS is a reflection of who I am: messy yet organized, wild in a restrained nature, and unconventional beautiful.
It’s everything I want to see in my garden. Everything I’m enthusiastic about, want to nurture, and covet.
And really, isn’t that what your garden should be? Something you really love.
